nel
blu dipinto di blu
Alberto Grozio has two artistic goals. He always dreamed to fly,
in order to approach the sun and the stars by his own means, like
Icarus; in order to be a divine messenger, like Hermes and above
all in order to overcome “public enemy no. 1 of humanity:
gravity”.
His second goal is to be invisible. This is not only the forbidden
dream of every human being, but also the eternal dream of all artists:
it’s the dream of the actor who, lending his body to another
“me” seeks to disappear; it’s the dream of the
writer who, by transforming his own personality in a multitude of
characters, tries to annihilate himself; it’s the dream of
the musician who tries to dissolve himself in melodies and rhythms;
it’s the dream of the visual artist who, by means of the objects
he creates, seeks another body to live in. Finally it’s also
the dream of the performing artist who seeks an escape in the research
of the limits of his own body.
After several years of research, the artist finally succeeded to
realize both goals. The performance can be followed from different
strategic points in town, based on the following flight-path:
18h00: Cathédrale (take-off) 18h17: Place
St-François
18h04: Place de la Riponne 18h23: quartier de la Gare
18h10: Place de la Palud 18h30:
Arsenic (landing)
